Strafer

Made with a small team of varying disciplines, Strafer is a racing game where two players each control an engine of one vehicle and must work together to make turns and win the race.

Strafer was my second game made with a multidisplinary team and allowed me to practice a lot of valuable skills. The game had two primary design objectives. The first was to ensure that the game would be played by two players and not just one player controlling sides. The second objective was to create

My responsibilities included:

  • Working with artists to create vistas to make the track engaging.

  • Design and balance the controls to ensure the co-operative element worked as intended

  • Designing and implementing speedlines, camera changes to create the illusion of speed
